DAMAC Chelsea Residences Launch

The UK launch of Chelsea Residences, Dubai Maritime City, full technical production, brand environment and live entertainment at The Dorchester, Park Lane, for Wizcraft and DAMAC Properties.

The Commission

A prestigious international launch, produced in London

Kudos AV was commissioned by Wizcraft Entertainment Agency, one of the world's leading experiential event agencies, with operations across India and the UAE, to deliver the London production for their client, DAMAC Properties. Wizcraft is internationally recognised for producing large-scale brand experiences, luxury launches and high-profile global events for some of the world's biggest brands.

DAMAC Properties is one of the most prestigious names in global real estate: the largest private real estate developer in the UAE and the Middle East, with an international portfolio of luxury developments and landmark branded residences. The London launch celebrated Chelsea Residences by DAMAC, an iconic waterfront development in Dubai Maritime City created in partnership with Chelsea Football Club.

Being entrusted with the technical production of a launch of this profile reflects our reputation for delivering premium corporate events to the highest standard.

Project Overview

The final tower, unveiled at The Dorchester

Held at the iconic Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane, the exclusive launch introduced the final tower of Chelsea Residences by DAMAC to an audience of leading property brokers, investors and VIP guests.

The development combines world-class residences with Chelsea Football Club branding throughout the resort, featuring premium wellness facilities, signature restaurants, luxury amenities and an iconic rooftop football pitch, creating one of Dubai's most exciting new residential destinations.

The evening featured a keynote project presentation by Dr. Baydoun and the official unveiling of Chelsea Residences by DAMAC, with special guest Gary Cahill, the former Chelsea FC captain and UEFA Champions League winner who took eight major trophies during his Chelsea career, and hosting by a presenter from Chelsea TV.

Our brief was to transform the venue into an environment that reflected the prestige of both the DAMAC and Chelsea FC brands, while creating an engaging experience for every guest in the room.

Arrival

Final Tower, Final Opportunity: the campaign line met guests at the door.

Arrival

Branded from the door

Guests arrived through a printed step-and-repeat media wall carrying the Chelsea Residences, Chelsea FC and DAMAC marks and the campaign line, Final Tower, Final Opportunity. Every arrival photograph, and every picture posted that night, carried the partnership in it. The wall and the entrance branding were printed and installed by our own team.

Alongside it, bespoke illuminated plinths gave the Chelsea FC identity physical presence in the marble foyer. Lit display cases turn objects into an exhibit, and they set the tone before anyone reached the ballroom.

The Display

Three bespoke illuminated plinths in the foyer, each lit as its own exhibit: the Premier League Trophy, an official Chelsea FC shirt and Chelsea-branded footballs.

The Room

The Dorchester's ballroom, ceiling, columns and chandeliers included, washed in Chelsea blue.

The Room

The Dorchester ballroom, washed in Chelsea blue

The brief was a room that read instantly as Chelsea. Our lighting design washed The Dorchester's ballroom, its ornate ceiling, columns and chandeliers included, in a deep, saturated blue, so the venue's own architecture became part of the brand environment rather than something to work around. Warm candlelight on the tables kept the room hospitable rather than cold.

Across the front of the room we built a three-screen LED array: a main screen flanked by two angled panels, so the branding held the whole width of the room and every table had a clean sightline. Through the evening the screens carried the Chelsea Residences identity, the development films, the location maps and the tower renders behind each speaker.

The Centrepiece

The model held the room. Guests left their tables and crowded it with their phones up.

The Centrepiece

An illuminated scale model of the development

The centrepiece was a large illuminated architectural model of Chelsea Residences, presented on a bespoke plinth branded to the development and lit so that every window in the towers glowed against the blue room. It gave brokers and investors the thing a render cannot: scale, massing, the marina, the pool decks and the rooftop pitch, all readable at a glance.

We lit it as an exhibit, tight spots picking the model out of a dark room, and it did exactly what a centrepiece should. It held guests there for most of the evening.

On Stage

A Chelsea legend, interviewed by Chelsea TV, with the development filling the screen behind him.

The Programme

Keynote, unveiling and a Chelsea legend

The formal programme ran off a branded lectern with full sound for speech and playback: a keynote project presentation by Dr. Baydoun, the location and product story cut to the screens, and the official unveiling of the final tower. We show-called and ran playback so each beat landed with the right content behind it.

The night's draw was Gary Cahill, former Chelsea FC captain and UEFA Champions League winner, eight major trophies in his Chelsea career, interviewed on stage by a presenter from Chelsea TV. He presented to guests, signed for them at the media wall, and made the Chelsea FC partnership feel real rather than a logo lock-up.

The Result

A polished launch that landed the brand

The event brought together leading property brokers, investors and VIP guests for an evening that reflected the quality and ambition of the Chelsea Residences development.

From seamless technical production to premium branding and immersive entertainment, Kudos AV delivered a high-end launch that supported DAMAC's objectives and demonstrated our ability to take a world-class event from concept through to execution.
